Hi everyone! I am Shivani and I am a medical student. Prior to becoming a medical student, I obtained a Bachelor's in Cell Biology. I have been tutoring for the past 7 years and I absolutely love it! Over the years, I have worked with a wide-range of students, including students with learning difficulties, in a wide range of coursework ranging from middle school level through college level math and science. I am most proud of bringing a tailored, individualized approach to tutoring because I believe that "one size doesn't fit all" as each student is truly unique. Looking forward to helping you excel in school and beyond!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With every new student, I start off by discussing the student's short-term and long-term goals. Then, I like to brainstorm a schedule that is meant to accomplish the student's goals in little chunks. I will then check with the student to see if that schedule fits their needs in the best manner. Utilizing this schedule as a framework, I will conduct sessions for homework help as well as skill-building. During sessions, there will be lots of two-way discussion as well as quality instruction!
