Sierra Horton

Hi there; I am 21 years old and recently worked as a special education teacher's aid at a Kalamazoo Public Schools middle school. I am a PRAXIS Certified Paraprofessional(Teacher's Aid). Previously, I attended Hope College for a year and a half, and in high school, I graduated sixth in my class, scored a 1360 on the SAT, and ended with a 3.99 unweighted GPA. Most academic subjects are still fresh in my mind. My best subjects are Mathematics and English, however, I can tutor in all four core subjects Elementary level through High School. I have a knack for explaining concepts in ways students can easily understand, and work with students who learn at all different paces. Children tend to respond well to me, and I really enjoy working with and getting to know them.
