I not only help students learn the material, but I teach them how to learn more efficiently.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every student has a learning style and approach to solving problems. My first step is to figure out how the student learns and thinks. Once we have found the optimal strategy for the student, I can coach them to learn efficiently and independently.
For example, some students need repetition, others may need more detailed explanations. I believe with the right approach, any student can be successful in math and science.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Michigan.
I have taught and tutored Chemistry at the college level for four years, and won several teaching awards.
I have scored in the 95% or higher in every standardized math and science test I have taken. SAT, ACT, PCAT.
