About
I am a professional violinist and a violin teacher with 20 years of teaching experience. My background includes studying at St. Petersburg Conservatory in Russia and a Doctorate degree from Michigan State University. The diversity of my education allows me to combine various teaching methods which I learned over the years.
While I strive to prov8de instructions
of a highest standard, I have an individual approach to each student, paying close attention to his/her personality and goals. I adjust the intensity of study process depending on student's needs: from relaxing and joyful playing for fun to intense training for those who prepare to enter educational institutions with a music performance degrees. My students won local competitions and entered prestigious colleges.
I believe, no matter how hard we are going to work, the lessons should always be filled with positive energy and inspiration, because this is what supports us and makes us growing and improving.
I work with students of all ages and levels from beginners to advanced, and I will be happy to provide guidance to anyone who loves music and violin, whether you want to perform professionally or just for fun.

I make every effort to provide high quality instruction to all my students, which means combining thorough work with joyful atmosphere. Starting work with a new student, I'm asking about his/her goals and musical interests, and I build our future work process according to those.
If the student inclines toward professional career, I pay closest attention to the technical training and understanding of musical language, and I might suggest certain pieces to work on.
