The brain has plasticity and is like any other muscle in the body. Fixed mindsets are irrelevant to how our brain develops. With my service, your brain will get lots of practice and conditioning techniques to make its connections stronger than what it was before.
My service is unique in a manner that my teaching will involve everything it will take for someone to learn something since everyone is different in how they learn and who they are, individually. Thus I find it meaningful to teach someone something they've wanted to learn or something they find tricky. I've had experience in your shoes as a student and like everyone else am still learning new ways to learn today as a graduate.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Depending on the student's needs, my process is flexible. It may take a more traditional and structural approach or it may be more guiding and self oriented. Nevertheless, I will always refer to the students choice and voluntary direction.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an MSU graduate with a B.S. Degree in the sciences and am attending graduate school. In terms of violin performance, I have been actively playing my instrument for over 16 years but have not been performing due to the given circumstances.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing varies. I have preferences for lesson prices however depending on the students financial status and high interest in learning I can be flexible for payment negotiations.
