Matt Severson English Consulting And Tutoring

I am currently pursuing a MA degree in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Learning at Michigan State and work in the Writing Center. I enjoy working with students on their writing and hope to continue working in higher education after graduation. I also worked as a tutor in the Writing Center at Washtenaw Community College before coming to MSU.

I have worked on undergraduate and graduate writing across a range of writing projects including long and short essays, dissertations, personal statements for graduate school applications, professional documents, and more.

I have four degrees and am currently pursuing my fifth degree. I have an AA, a BA in Philosophy, a BA in Education, an MBA, and am a second year student pursuing my MA.

I mostly work with students in higher education; however, I am open to working with students in high school.

I enjoy working with students and helping them produce the best writing they can. I view it as expanding their abilities to express themselves and also providing a beneficial and needed service. It is rewarding when I can build a relationship and help guide the person I am working with through their writing.
