About
I was an accounting student for a long time, as I went through the process of getting my BBA, MST, and CPA license. I struggled with my first accounting class (C+ final grade!) so I understand what it's like to not understand accounting the first time around. It is its own language! I went on to get straight As in my Master of Science of Taxation, so I have learned how to study for accounting, and how best to master the material.
Accounting takes a detail oriented approach, so I am slow and conscientious when it comes to teaching the material. I have worked with undergraduates and interns for many years now, in the 5+ years I've worked in public accounting. No matter which area of accounting, I have some practical or academic experience in it.
