Hello! My name is Annika, a passionate and dedicated educator with over 10 years experience teaching in diverse learning and caretaking settings. Having worked with a wide range of ages and learning needs, I specialize in creating engaging and supportive learning environments that cater to each student's specific needs.
With a rich background in education, I successfully taught in various settings, including private and public schools, in-person and online platforms, as well as on the tennis court as a coach! My background knowledge and content expertise spans a wide range of subjects, allowing me to focus on differentiation and building rapport with all students.
I attended Purdue University and graduated with a BA in Elementary Education with a Minor in Spanish. I previously held a teaching license in the state of Indiana until I moved to Michigan. I currently hold a Michigan educator license while actively seeking new information and research on best resources and evidence-based practices to incorporate.
