Tutoring With Tom

I have a PhD and B.S. in Physics - both from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I've been tutoring Physics and Math for more than 15 years! I can tutor any introductory college or high school classes or help with MCAT questions.

My approach to tutoring is to listen carefully to students and understand what material they already understand, so that we can build strength where it is needed. Drawings are very important for teaching physics and math and I think this is something I have a lot of experience with - my students always learn better once they see a good drawing.

My philosophy is that if the drawing is right, the equation is often right - and if the equation is right, the algebra can get the right answer. So starting from a good drawing is very important!
