What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will usually start by asking a student if there are any specific concepts they happen to be struggling with. Once I get an idea of that, I can start introducing smaller concepts which we can use as bulding blocks to eventually tackle the more challenging ones.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a graduate of Tufts Unversity with a degree in mathematics.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've mostly worked with middle school age students although I am comfortable with kids of all ages.
