I am an Early Childhood Educator with 2 years of certified teaching experience. I have taught 1st Grade and am currently teaching Pre-K. During my college education program, I have student taught full time in both Kindergarten and 3rd Grade classroooms. In addition, I have tutored clients through the 5th grade level. I specizalize in reading and writing, but can also teach other subjects (science, social studies, math, etc.) for children from preschool-3rd Grade. I have also been an inclusion counselor where I have worked with children with disabilities by adapting and planning activities.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Really taking the time to get to know them and incorperating their interests into the lessons.

A degree in Early Childhood Education, plus two years of teaching experience
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Typically I charge my clients between $50-75 an hour depending on the subject. If my clients are willing to do multiple sessions a week, I lower my pricing.
How did you get started teaching?
I started by student teaching in the education program at Towson, then began to teach for two years following college.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
-One recent event that I am fond of would be my previous client. Getting him to work through his frustrations with writing and ending the school year with an A in Writing. :)
