Hello! My name is Jasmin Jennifer. I am based in Columbia, MD, with 16 years of experience teaching English and Reading in the middle school classroom. I specialize in providing personalized reading and writing tutoring services and passionate about helping students realize their power and potential. I strive to help students understand the relevance behind every skill and assignment in order to increase their engagement and motivation. Often deemed my students' favorite teacher, I teach with respect and encouragement at the forefront. While my classroom experience has been in middle school, my undergrad degree is in Elementary Education and my Master's Degree in Human Development focused on adolescent (6 to 12th grade) learners.
