French Tutoring
About
My name is Lucie Marin and I provide french language tutoring services for grades K-12. I am a sophmore in college studying to be a teacher with a minor in french. My father is a French native and I myself was born in France. I have visited France many times and studied the language since middle school. I received a 5 on my AP French exam and I am a recipient of the Maryland Seal of Biliteracy. I tutor students in french speaking and pronunciation, reading, and writing. I can even provide my experiences with French culture!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would set up a meeting over phone or Zoom to get information on how advanced the student is in the language. I would ask if there were any specific goals in mind that I could help them reach in tutoring sessions as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am minoring in French at Saint Joseph's University and I hope to study abroad in France at some point. I am also an education major at Saint Joseph's and I have a lot of experience working with students. I took French in high school including an AP French course, and scored a 5 on the exam.
