About
I am an approachable tutor who is passionate about learning. I am currenly getting my PhD in Geography at the University of Kentucky, and hold a MA in Environmental Policy and BA in International Relations, Summa Cum Laude from American University. I was a Rhodes Scholar finalist in 2018, a Marshall Scholar finalist in 2019, and awarded the American University President's award which is the highest honor given to a graduating student university-wide.
I enjoy engaging with students, seeing learning breakthroughs occur, and helping students reach their educational goals.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first like to hear about their likes and dislikes in a subject, what they get excited learning about, and where they feel they could be stronger. From there, we will create a personalized plan for improvement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently hold a Master's degree in environmental policy. I am pursuing a PhD in Geography. I have 4 years of experience working with elementary students as a nanny, 1 year of Kindergarten Sunday school teaching, and many generations of teachers in my family.
