About
My background and foundations in the tutoring opportunities I offer:
Software Engineering/Programming: As a current Software Engineer at a Fortune 500 company in the DMV area, I’m highly qualified to work with students who are looking to get into the world of computer science, or more specifically programming. I have knowledge in a wide array of software languages as well as tools that will help someone learn from scratch. I am highly detail oriented and am willing to spend the time up front to ensure that you know exactly what you need from the ground up.
Math: I currently a Masters student at Johns Hopkins University studying Computer Science with an emphasis on enterprise development, databases, and language modeling. Through my coursework I have had to take advanced mathematics courses to ensure my foundational understanding of very specific math related subjects, so let’s just say I am comfortable with math.
Speech: I also studied communications at a bachelors level for one of my undergrad degrees. I’m comfortable with helping students gain knowledge on how to learn, speak, and express English in the best way possible.
I am a new tutor and so I am learning the best workflows required. As such I will custom tailor my tutoring approach to the specific client instead of providing a one size fits all approach that other tutors may use. I’m truly seeking to provide my students with the best possible tools to succeed in the courses and careers that they are hoping to achieve/complete. I am hopeful to creating a lasting impression that benefits everyone I work with in any way that I can!
