Learning biology can feel like a whole other world, with a totally different language...but actually its this world! The more we understand biology, the more sense the world around us makes. When we considder how to combat the recent outbreak, or try to lose weight.... the answers are all rooted in molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics.
I am passionate about helping students grasp and underlying concepts of biology, and explore how our bodies and the world around us actually works. Whatever the course is you are taking, I can help you nail the basics and build upon that with more complex concepts. And hopefully I can make it a little more fun in the process :)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First we will discuss where the student needs help. Then I will share a strategy that will include both direct teaching from me as well as some independent work.
We will discuss any major assignments or exams that the student may need extra help to prepare for, and schedule our sessions to optimize success.
Finally, we will assess at the end of each tutoring session how things are going and if either party has thougths on altering strategy or material.
Prices:
$25 / hour of video tutoring
$10 / document editing
