Hello! I’m Amanda! I have 10 years of teaching experience working with students in grades Pre-K to 5. I love helping kids grow as readers, writers, thinkers, and problem-solvers. When we work together, you can expect a classroom that is friendly, fair, and focused. I believe in hands-on learning, clear routines, and lots of encouragement. I’ll set clear expectations, give you chances to ask questions, and help you try new things—even when they feel hard at first. I support every student by explaining things clearly, giving helpful feedback, and celebrating progress. I can meet everyone where they are, and you'll explore your interests and take responsibility for your learning. Why I’ll do an excellent job: With a decade of experience, I know how to build lessons that are engaging and rigorous, manage a classroom where everyone can learn, and communicate well with families. I stay current on best practices and adapt instruction to help each student reach their potential.
