I have a passion for teaching and love seeing my students succeed. I feel energized when a student of mine is enthusiastic about learning and improving. I am excited to help my students reach their goals.
I have experience teaching students of all ages, from 5 to 75. I teach out of my house, but if you can't make it to my house, I and also happy to teach over Skype.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to do a trial lesson first, which is usually shorter than the normal lesson length. The point of that lesson is to get a feel for the level of the student, and what their interests are/what they hope to get out of the lessons with me.
After that, if they are interested in continuing lessons, we set a schedule and continue working towards the student's goals!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
30 minute lesson- $25
60 minute lesson- $40
Any student under 14 years old may only sign up for a 30 minute lesson.
Trial lessons are 30 minutes, and cost $20.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
The main thing that I think is important, is to find a teacher that will give you all the necessary basics, while also giving you room to learn what you are interested in. It's also very important to find a teacher that you connect with on a personal level, because this will help motivate you to continue your lessons and learn!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is the reason you are learning? Do you have a specific goal you want to achieve? If not, that's okay. It's very valid to want to learn just because it's fun and challenging. But think about the reasons.
