Zahria's Tutoring

Hi! I’m Zahria, a Math major at James Madison University with a 3.00 GPA, and I’ve been tutoring K-12 students in English/Language Arts (plus Math and Spanish) through Club Z! Tutoring. I know Math major and reading/writing tutor sounds like an odd combo, but it actually works in my favor. I’m used to breaking down anything confusing into small, manageable steps, whether that’s a math problem or a tricky paragraph. Patience and clear explanations are basically my whole thing.

Outside of tutoring, I’ve also coached beginners at my old high school’s volleyball camp, so I have real experience mentoring kids who are just starting out and need someone encouraging, not intimidating, in their corner. I also spent years as a volunteer tech consultant, setting up devices and troubleshooting for freshmen, so I’m patient with beginners in general, not just in one subject.
