I have been an MCPS teacher for 15 plus years. I have taught k through 6th grade.
I enjoy helping kids who struggle and and challenging kids so they thrive. School should not be boring or hard and I’m here to help .

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet with the parents and decide what the next steps for the child will be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters degree from Johns Hopkins university. I have plus 40 credits in continuing education classes.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $45 for 40 minutes and $65 for an hour in my home office.
How did you get started teaching?
I have wanted to teach my entire life.
What types of students have you worked with?
Deaf and hard of hearing, gifted students, farms students, adhd, autstic, low income, LD, ESL, I have taught all types of children .
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You will thrive, you will succeed ,just believe in yourself and give it your best.
