My name is Adeile Lyons and I am a high school history teacher. I have worked as a teacher for Montgomery County Public Schools for 11 years and am looking to tutor students over the summer. Currently, I teach honors U.S History and ESL classes. Prior to being a high school teacher, I have also taught kindergarten, 5th grade and middle school. With my wide range of experience, I am happy to tutor students in grades K-12 as well as adults who are learning English. As your teacher, I have a warm and friendly approach who will provide structure and rigor. I will get to know who you are and ensure that my teaching meets your learning style and needs. Lastly, I love what I do and try to make learning fun and relevant because that is what makes academic success attainable. I believe anyone can reach their learning goals with the right tools and resources- I can help!
