First session would not only involve the subject I want to teach. It would be me getting to know you: Why you are taking the class, What motivates you (does not have to be related to academics), what are your study habits, etc.

I am a Mechanical Engineer.

How did you get started teaching?

I have been a tutor on and off ever since I started college 7 years ago. I am good at it and will likely become a teacher in the future.
