I work with younger kids [elementary age] and older kids [middle/high school] my philosophy is that learning should be fun. In the summer I like to work with the kids ouside as much as possible. Let them run around and have fun but still be learning. I do things like number obstacle courses to learn numbers, addition, subtration, and multiplication and division. For older kids I find meeting outside of the house works best. If we meet at a starbucks or panera there's less stress. And it gives them a chance to feel more adult, like a college student.
