What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get to know the student by having a casual conversation to understand them, then having them take an assessment to understand their best learning style. After this session, I create a learning plan that states the weekly learning topics and activities. Each week, at the end of the week, the student takes an assessment to track their improvement over time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Princeton University, where I had to right countless essays and eventuslly published a dissertation of over 100 pages.
I have tutored students (K-12) for the past 10 years.
