Hola! I have worked in higher education as an academic advisor for over 20 years (at a four-year D-I university and 2 community colleges). I have also been an adjunct professor teaching Spanish 101, Global Studies 101, developmental English, and first-year experience classes. My B.A. is in Anthropology with a Spanish minor (Ithaca College), and my M.A. is in International Affairs (Florida State University). I am currently a doctoral student in Community College Leadership (Morgan State University). I studied abroad in Madrid, Spain during my junior year of college, and I have traveled to 32 countries. My Spanish tutoring experience spans decades from beginner to advanced students, both in-person and virtually, for whatever goals the student has. Sometimes students need conversational Spanish to prepare for an overseas experience, and sometimes students would like to read and write more for graduate school research. Whatever the reason, I make sure that they can see results in the time period they specify.
