Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A typical process for working with a new student would be centered around getting to know their strengths and weaknesses. Every session provides and opportunity for growth both with the student and with my ability to help them achieve their fullest potential.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Pricing is negotiable depending on the number of sessions and length of time each session takes. I am very flexible!
How did you get started teaching?
My initial passion for teaching sparked at the young age of five years old. I enjoyed assisting with my teachers during dance classes, swim team, and school. From there, I became an assistant at church for a kindergarten Sunday school class. My passion has only grown deeper since the young age of five, and now I am in the process of becoming an official teacher with the state of Maryland!
What types of students have you worked with?
My teaching experience consists of many different ages, grade levels, and subjects. I have taught people from 3 years old to 80 years old, and have a burning passion to see every one of my students succeed. More recently, in the 2019-2020 school year, I specialized with students who had learning disabilities and down syndrome. I enjoyed the experience of watching them learn and grow their confidence everyday!
