Frauke Bowen

Frauke is very kind and patient with her teaching/tutoring techniques. She also goes out of her way to utilize new and innovative approaches in her tutoring style to enhance a students language acquisition ability and language understanding. Tutoring with Frauke in both German and French prepared me for successful entry in to college level language courses for both languages and provided a solid foundation for future language acquisition.

Ms. Bowen is a fantastic language teacher! I have enjoyed learning with her and being her student and wouldnt want to take a language class with anyone else. Her classes are rigorous and challenging, but she will help you if you need it and do her absolute best to help you understand the material. As long as you apply yourself and do your best, you will succeed and do well in her class. Again, it may not always be easy to understand certain concepts so dont be afraid to ask questions. SHE WILL HELP YOU! I strongly reccomend taking either French or German with her because she is probably one of the best, if not, the best French/German teacher in Southern Maryland. I hope this helps in guiding those who want to invest in learning a new language.
