Cole Pero
About
Hi, my name is Cole, and I am a PhD candidate studying under the mentorship of Nobel Laureate Craig Mello at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA. I use genetics, molecular biology, and biochemistry in my efforts to uncover the processes regulating gene expression in the germline. I have mentored several high school and college students directly in the lab, and greatly enjoy teaching in one-on-one settings where I can tailor my lessons to the individual. I'm all about making science fun and engaging for college students, whether you are a science major or not. With personalized tutoring services, I will cater to each student's unique learning style and pace. Whether it's diving deep into biology or unraveling the mysteries of chemistry, I love to spark curiosity and boost confidence in science. With one-on-one attention, I ensure that every session is tailored to help students achieve their academic goals. Let's explore the wonders of science together and make learning an enjoyable adventure!
