About
We are an Education company founded by a certified Special Education teacher who has been in the field for 20 plus years. We offer not only tutoring, but assessment, professional development, parent workshops, and Advocacy as well. All tutors have been in the field and trained, as well as have been educated to service all learning styles. We match the tutor to the needs. We are flexible, and understand that all students are individuals. There is more than one way to teach and help a student. We create a Learning Plan for the student's needs. There is not one specific fee. The fee is based on the needs and expectations of the student and parent. We are here to help you, and help the student be successful.
We enjoy that what we do is not a job, but a passion. We love that we can use our talents and knowledge to help others feel good about themselves and be successful, helping our students recognize their strengths instead of focusing on their weaknesses.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I talk with the potential client over the phone first to find out needs. Then I meet with the client and student at their house or the Learning Center. We discuss needs, expectations, a possible Learning Plan, session times, and the fee. The first 2 to 3 sessions are assessments. After assessments are completed, a report is given to the client and a Learning Plan is reviewed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Licensed Special Educator. I have a Master's in Education, Moderate Needs and s CAGS in Reading and ELA. I have been trained in Wilson, Lindamood Bell, Multiple Learning Differences, Story Grammar Marker, Irlen, 3 Keys to Comprehension, and Dyslexia. I have also been trained in MCAS, Writing, and Math Strategies.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I don't have a specific fee. I base it on the needs of the student, as well as the financial abilities of the family. However, my maximum at this time is 60 dollars per session.
How did you get started teaching?
My passion started when my sister needed help in school. My career started when I was a paraprofessional for a vocational school.
