About
Hi, I'm Nabeeha! I'm currently studying Health Science and Policy as well as Biology at Brandeis. I know that learning isn't a very linear process, so I would love to explain confusing concepts in a variety of ways to best suit one's learning method! I can also help with SAT prep. Please reach out with any questions!
I love working with people because of the rewarding relationships I am able to build uniquely with each person. I think tutoring is a very valuable experience because not only am I able to help others master concepts in different ways, but I am also able to modify my communication skills to better explain difficult topics. I am confident in my abilities to better break down material, and re-teach them in a more comprehensive way. I have experience tutoring a broad range of math (from Geometry to AP Calc) in high school through the National Math Honor Society, and I also helped tutor high school level biology and chemistry. I can also help out with essay writing, or SAT prep. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I aim to have them explain their thoughts on a confusing topic to me so that I can identify which exact area they are struggling in. Then, I break down topics and explain them in ways not traditionally taught in school. I believe that gaining a new perspective is the best way to learn something difficult.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken advanced classes in Mathematics and Biology, which are two subjects I am very comfortable teaching. I was a peer tutor for three years during high school, so I have experience teaching a variety of different students with different learning abilities.
