I have a deep knowledge and understanding and love for Biology. I am able to help students understand complex information by breaking to down into easy bites. I have a lot of experience to draw on as well. I am very comfortable with students and am able to develop of great learning relationship.

Biology is an important science as it reveals a lot about how our bodies work and how nature works. Understanding Biology allows us to be advocates for our own healthcare and also for care of the environment. It makes us better humans!!

    I work to understand what they have covered in Biology to date. I make sure they understand the previous content all while moving them forward with new chapters as received in the class.  It very important that the student fully learn the concepts so that they can build a strong foundation. Especially, if they are looking at careers in the medical or scientific fields!!

    I have a Ph.D in Cell Biology and Physiology. I continued my training as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University in Molecular Biology. I work in the field of Genetics and Genomics. I have been tutoring for over 20 years and have both enjoyed and improved each of my students. 

    My pricing is $125/hr based on all of my education, training, work experience and tutoring experience.  My results are students who improve their understanding of biology and also develop an interest and deeper understanding.  I truly prep students headed into the medical and scientific fields.

    I began tutoring other students in high school. In grad school I prepared students for the SATs and other tests. I focused on High School Biology as it's so rewarding helping students develop a strong foundation in the very important basic science.
