Annie Harney

I am a Special Education Teacher in middle school grades and have experience and licensure for grades pre-K through 8th grade. I make my lessons interactive, personalized, and utilize the Universal Design for Learning approach in order to keep engagement and increase my students' abilities through multiple means of representation of a lesson and multiple means of expressing what they have learned.

I'm all about growth mindset and the power of yet. I am determined to help my student find their strengths and use those strengths to tackle whatever they are struggling with. I believe a student should have choice in pieces of their learning and love working collaboratively one on one or in small groups to truly access this potential.
