Hi, my name is Christa, and I love working with students! A fun fact about me is that I can say the dialogue from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by heart. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point! On a more personal level, I am a patient and caring type of person! I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I studied Mathematics at Wayne State University and have been tutoring for 2 years. Math and Science tend to build on themselve

I myself am still in school, I am an honors student heading into my junior year of high school! I absolutely love working with others and helping them reach their academic goals! I recently graduated from University of Arizona with a major in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I am in second year of med school. I have 4 years of tutoring experience. I was a teaching assistant for 3 years in college and I also helped put at peer tutoring services at my uni.

I have been tutoring children for the past two years in various subjects. I have especially excelled in the areas of math, reading, and science and love working in special education as well. I am currently tutoring in Math and Reading (Elementary level). I currently teach second grade in the Plymouth Public Schools. I have my masters degree and I am a certified teacher in Elementary Education (Grades 1-6).

I am a physical therapy student who has always had a passion for science courses. However, I was not always the greatest student so I was forced to develop good study habits over the years. These habits allowed me to graduate summa cum laude in undergrad and I am on my way to do the same in graduate school. I get enjoyment out of teaching others and helping them learn and understand subjects that may not come easy at first.
