Ify's Tutoring
About
I am very excited about STEM, and I work very hard to share that excitement with my students.
I really enjoy seeing the spark in students eyes when they finally understand a concept they had been struggling with.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically work with the student to figure out what the major issues are, and we have a conversation to figure out if we are a fit.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a biochemistry degree, and I tutored biology and chemistry at Wellesley.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The first meeting is free as I consider it to mostly be a consultation!
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching in high scool when I would tutor my classmates on most of the subjects we were learning.
What types of students have you worked with?
Middle school, High school and college age students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you find a teacher you are not afraid of. Chemistry is fun, and if your tutor isn't making you feel that, you should find a new one!
