I am a qualified writing tutor with experience in content, policy, technical, fictional and academic writing. I have successfully aided students of different academic, professional, cultural & linguistic backgrounds toward fulfilling their own goals.
I am considerate to the needs of students and utilize a fun but effective style of pedagogy.
My rates are flexible, but range between $25-40 by the hour.
I love writing. It is an incredibly important part of being a good student, professional, entrepreneur and human being. It is my pleasure to teach others how to write in an effective, persuasive, creative and eloquent manner. Remember- if you can write well, you can think well!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I get to know the student and their background and understand their exposure. The potential of any student is limitless, but I quickly gauge the level of proficiency that they are comfortable with at present.
I then make sure we both understand what we are working toward together before I support the student in the most effective way. I am a natural motivator and never commence work before the student is ready to dive in and achieve.
My sessions are fun but also extremely structured. My hope is that the student's new knack for what I am teaching spills over to other domains of their life.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Master's student at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Franklin and Marshall College and earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma in conjunction with my US High School Diploma from a leading international private school. I am the recipient of two certificates in writing from Brown University. I have earned seven distinction's from the Trinity College of London's Oratory School and have worked as a content and policy writer at several private and nonprofit organizations. I am an acclaimed writing and public speaking coach that has been published in various leading newspapers, magazines and journals. I have lived, worked and studied in four different countries and acutely understand how to tap the potential of different learners- especially late bloomers and those who are not academically motivated.

How did you get started teaching?
I have taught since I was a high school student. A late bloomer myself, who was never intrinstically academically motivated, I learnt how to make learning fun for myself which allowed me to succeed at the game of school and the game of life- while becoming a life long learner.

A vast array of different cultures, nationalities, academic and professional backgrounds. I have also worked with students that have learning disabilities- and am extremely educated in that space.
