Chemistry And Physics Turoring
About
As a premedical graduate at a large university, I had to get used to figuring things out for myself. There is nothing more frustrating than being left behind in a class. I aim to provide a personalized and engaging tutoring experience by making sure each session is an appropriate challenge, setting students up to feel achievement.
I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2019 with a BS in Exercise Science with a 3.75 GPA.
My transcript includes A's in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Molecular Biology, and Physics.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will typically ask about the students academic strengths and weaknesses. Then I like to discuss the subject itself, how the student feels about the class, and how we would best spend our time together.
That information is used to create a personalized learning plan.
How did you get started teaching?
In college I spent a lot of time working in groups, and eventually began offering individuals 1 on 1 time if they needed it. That led very naturally to tutoring other students.
My day job includes working with special needs students on simpler day to day life skills.
