About
New England Sci-Tech is a non-profit STEM+ education center and makerspace dedicated to project-based, hands-on learning for youth and families across the New England community.
The president and lead teacher taught in middle and high school levels at a private school in Brookline, MA, for 38 years and directed a summer science camp for 21 years.
What We Do
Classes and workshops in electronics, space science, ham radio, astronomy, robotics, photography, coding, computers, 3D design, Cubes-in-SpaceTM, kite making, battle-bots, rocketry, and more.
License classes in amateur radio.
FCC radio examinations.
Summer and after-school programs.
Public astronomy nights and planetarium shows.
Educational support for the home school community or schools wanting STEM+ enrichment.
Prep classes for National Latin Exam (NLE).
Qualifying activities for scout merit badges.
Science Fair project support.
Special Projects for High-School Teens
We help teens develop a focused, project-oriented activity in STEM science to help build their college portfolio or prepare a science fair project. We provide project mentoring, internships, and teaching opportunities that support goal-oriented, college-bound youth.
Academic Tutoring
We provide academic tutoring in English grammar, classical Latin language, pre-algebra and higher level math and geometry.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Phone introduction followed by free interview and consultation. We will try to match a specific tutor to the child based on the topic and level. We want the family to be comfortable with our location, operation, and tutors. We try to set hours that are most convenient for the family.
