About
As a recent graduate of an acredited teacher prepatory program, I am knowledgable of the current curriculum for English Grades 5-12. I have worked with students rangings in grades 5-12 for the last four years in diverse education settings. I graduated Cum Laude from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh after graduating from Bishop Stang High School in 2016. Currently, I am preparing to begin a masters program in Educational Psychology. From Duquesne University, I was on the Dean's List for all four years of undergraduate studies and participted in a research symposim for work with English texts and cross-curricular studies.
I am passionate about encouraging students to want to learn. I believe that students love learning and need an educational setting that fosters creativity and accountablity in order to thrive.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, the student should send me information on what their goals would be for the session as well as any information that would be necessary (book titles, worksheets, summer reading questions, etc).
I would then create an outline of the session (which would get sent to the student at the end of the session) for students to review after the session.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching in my Junior year of highschool. I taught theatre basics to younger classes. Watching them grow in their new skills inspired me to become a teacher. I began teaching from the first semester of my undergraduate training.
