Sarah’s English Tutoring Services
About
As a current graduate student working towards becoming a Massachusetts English teacher, I have a lot of background knowledge and experience working with students of all ages. I am also very flexible in my teaching style and have a variety of different strategies I can implement during tutoring sessions.
One of the best feelings in the world comes from seeing someone make strides in their learning, whether big or small. This is what inspired me to begin a career in education. I love working with students of all ages and watching them grow & thrive.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I begin by introducing myself, followed by asking a few questions to get to know the student (such as their hobbies, interests, favorite school subjects, and areas where they are looking to improve). This helps me structure the lesson while also learning more about the student. I then quickly assess the student to determine their skills and understanding of a particular topic. This helps me plan out future sessions while also setting goals for the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in English and am currently working towards a Master's in Education. I'm also in the process of applying for my Massachusetts teaching license in English 5-12.
