Acumen tutoring provides 1-on-1 personalized in-home tutoring sessions for middle school, high school, and college students. I focus on targeting each student's individual learning style and current skillset. With tailored practice plans and expert academic coaching, I help my students meet their learning goals.
Academic Tutoring: I tutor a wide range of academic subjects including math, English, biology, history, physics, earth science and writing.
Test Prep: I tutor for the PSAT, SAT, ACT, GRE, and LSAT
College Admissions: I provide advice on college admissions essays and application materials
To me, the most satisfying part of tutoring is working with a student to build their confidence and develop the skills they need to exceed their academic goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students can schedule a 30-minute initial evaluation session by emailing [email protected] . During this meeting your tutor will assess your current knowldge of the target tutoring subject and discuss your academic goals.

I primarily tutor high school and undergraduate students. Tutoring is open to learners and test-takers over age 11.
