About
A graduate of the Master of Professional Writing program at USC, I taught freshman composition at the university for two years while earning my degree. Prior to graduate school, I worked for two years as an associate editor for a Boston-based educational publishing company, where I wrote and edited a series of storybooks for struggling readers in grades K-2. During this time, I also served as a tutor with the professional tutoring organization, StudySmart, where one of my roles involved helping students draft and edit their college application essays. I am passionate about education and helping students improve their writing to become better communicators.
