Tutoring Background:
I've tutored students every since I was 14, working at Kumon Math and Reading for 4 years before heading off to college. In addition, at Dartmouth I tutor other students in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and other sciences every term. I succeeded well enough to be rehired as a TA in a statistics course every semester for two years in a row.
I am willing to tutor any Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or Math course. If tutee is interested in Economics, can also tutor in Economics (I'm currently an Econ major at Dartmouth).
College Admissions Background:
Accepted into two Ivy League Schools during Regular Decision application cycle (I did not apply early decision anywhere; if anything it is even more difficult to get in regular decision than early decision). The two I was accepted into was Cornell and Dartmouth.
Also accepted into Tufts, Boston College's honors college, Northeastern, and more (I applied to only east coast schools).
I am willing to read and comment on Students' college application essays, or provide whatever other help they may need.

The best thing about tutoring is seeing the growth of the student over time. Teaching them how to think critically, and eventually seeing them able to work independently is crucial to success. I hope to teach my students how to become independent thinkers, so that may succeed on their own in the future.
