What is your typical process for working with a new student?
On our first meeting we decide what we will base our conversations on and preoare to show up to each class with a clear focus. I like to include literature, music, art, something that the student really enjoys talking about. I find this makes learning more multidimensional and more exciting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was born in Uruguay and am a native speaker. I have worked translating and writing in Spanish including the Spanish translation of Our Bodies Ourselves by the Boston Women's Health Book Collective: Nuestros Cuerpos, Nuestras Vidas

I have worked with all age groups, students who were currently in classes and needed to improve accent and vocabulary, studens who preparing for a trip to a Spanish speaking country, students who need Spanish to improve their use of the language for work.
