Lea Mitchell

I am a current college student and I am a public health sciences major on a pre-med track. In addition to learning about sciences, I enjoy writing papers for not only my major, but in general. I have had a passion for this since an early age, since I entered the PBS Kids Writing Contest in first grade and won third place. I am very patient, motivated, and quick to offer tips and anything it will take to make someone feel more comfortable and excited about the learning process. As a competitive baton twirler, I have taught baton twirling lessons to kids from the ages of 3-16 for the last six years. I enjoyed seeing the results in these kids and giving them the confidence they needed to stay motivated.
