I am an experienced teacher and administrator, with 20 plus years of experience. I have a B.A. in Communications and a Master’s Degree in Education. I love teaching and learning, and I am excited to work with students who may benefit from reteaching/additional instruction/support. My rate and hours are negotiated, however I am currently a classroom teacher!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to take some time to talk to the student. It is important to include students in this process, and asking guiding questions is important. What does the student see as a their strengths? What area would they target as an area of need? What are some goals we could work towards? What had been the student’s experience in the classroom/witj their peers?
Focusing on building connections with students is critical to their success.
