About
I am a passionate and energetic teacher of over ten years. I am licensed in the state of Massachusetts in both physics and chemistry as well as middle school general science. Not only do I have in-classroom experience, I have also worked as a private tutor for many years, helping both high school and college students master subject matter and improve grades. I can help you or your child gain confidence in science through time tested methods and curriculum.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, the student or parent will contact me by email giving a brief description of the subject and/or problem for which tutoring is required. We will set up a time and place to meet both parent and student or the student alone if in college. This generally takes place in the student's home or in a mutually agreed upon public place. If it seems that it will be a good fit, we can set up a weekly schedule that fits all.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an undergraduate degree in Physics as well as extensive work in chemistry and earth science. I also have a graduate credential in secondary science teaching, which covers grades 6 -12. I have taught all levels of physics, chemistry and general science for over ten years. This also includes introductory college courses.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with multi-national students, gifted and talented students, and students with IEPs and 504s.
