I am a foreign language teacher with 20 years experience teaching elementary middle and high school students. I teach both Spanish and French. I also have experience teaching English as a second language. I have been working full time as an online foreign language tutor since 2019. I currently have 20 students ages 8 to 75. I have dealt with all different kinds of learners and ages including children adolescents and adults. I work closely with parents, teachers, and students to communicate progress and work towards areas of improvement . I have also worked extensively with middle school students on organizaitional . I love languages!! I am also studying Russian and Italian in my free time and I am a parent. I hold an experience educator teaching certificate in French and Spanish in the state of NH. I have TESOL certification. I have a bachelors degree in French and I have a Masters degree in Business Administration.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First meeting discuss goals with student and parent . Set up a learning plan. My hourly rate (based on a 45 min session ) $ 25 for an online teaching/tutoring session.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$ 25 per 50 minute lesson for once a week. Regular twice a week meetings at $22 per lesson, or $ 44 per week. Includes assignments to do during the week to allow for language learning progression.
How did you get started teaching?
When I lived I. Costa Rica I taught in an international school.

I have been tutoring a high school senior in French for the last year. She went from failing the class to a B+ and has a great deal confidence .
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find a tutor you feel you can work with, who is patient , understanding and skilled .
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What do I want to achieve? Am I willing to put in the work? The tutor cannot so it for me but can give me the tools I need to succeed
