Daniel Taravella, AP History And Latin Tutoring

My name is Daniel Taravella and I am an experienced History and Latin Teacher who loves his subjects! If you're taking either AP History or Latin you are already special and obviously intelligent and willing to challenge yourself academically! And these are two areas of study in which I can apply my three decades of academic and teaching experience to your specific needs.

If you are struggling with your AP European, World, or US History course, whether it's the course content or exam prep, I can help you! I have years of experience teaching, designing, and assessing MCQs, DBQs, LEQs and everything in-between. I can help you with essay writing, multiple choice question strategies, and mastering the content of these demanding courses. I am an enthusiastic and very patient History teacher currently teaching both AP World and APUSH at a local independent prep school.

Also, I have years of academic and teaching experience in all levels of Latin, which I am currently teaching, from the First Declension to the Aeneid! If you are just beginning and need some guidance in understanding the differences between genitives and datives, or the imperfect and the perfect, I would love to help! If you're more advanced but struggling with the many uses of the Ablative case, gerunds and gerundives, the Subjunctive mood, or mastering Caesar's prose and Vergil's poetry, I can certainly help you, too.
