Hello! I am a college English professor with over 20 years of experience. I have taught middle school, high school, and college students between the ages of 14 and 84. I love teaching.

More than anything else, I want students to recognize themselves as the agents of their own education and to know that what they have to say is important and worthwhile. Reading, researching, and writing are not so much “subjects” to study as they are activities. I am here to support you in becoming a more confident reader and writer.
