I am a high school student about to graduate. I understand the stress of school and am able to help students through connections I am capable of making with them.
I have experience helping ages 8-13 with homework, editing high school and college essays, and tutoring high school students through the National Honor Society.

My standard prices for tutoring are the following:
$25 for the first hour
$15 for each additional hour
$10 flat rate for each workbook needed
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with 8-12 year olds helping with homework, high school and college students for editing essays, and high school students for English and history tutoring.

I would tell a student looking to hire a teacher to look for someone with experience and who truly cares about educating.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
A few questions students should think through are:
How much can I spend?
How often do I need tutoring? One a week? Twice a week?
How many subjects do I need tutoring for? Do I want different tutors for each subject or one for all subjects?
